The statutory aim of the Association Les Films Verts is "to raise public awareness of environmental issues and sustainable development, in particular through the organisation of a film festival on these themes". It is chaired by Mr François Marthaler, former State Councillor of Vaud (Les Vert-e-s) and directed by Mr Nicolas Guignard, who is also the creator of the Festival.
